The Number One Candidate for '08

Dancin' Weapon of Choice

We love to watch America's Best Dance Crew on MTV.
This is my favorite group from last season:
Break SK8

But....this one has got to be my all time favorite dance video!!!

My poodle thinks he is a sculpture!!

I recently acquired this lovely "reading girl sculpture"
for my birthday and I absolutely love it.

This is where I placed it in my home. As you
can see, my poodle, Jasper, sat there as I was taking
the photograph....I swear, I did not pose him like that!!!
He thinks he is a living sculpture! LMAO

Decorative Item and Jasper

I've recently added this beautiful mirror to
the decor of my living room. My sweet
mother gave it to me and I think it looks like
it was made for this space! Click here
to see what I had there previously.

I have not posted any photos of Jasper lately,
so here are a couple taken recently.
:)

SUMMER 2008 is HERE

GET ME OUTTA HERE! LOL
Tessia's last day as a Sophomore!

Summer '08 began with RiverFest in Little Rock!
Tessia went with a friend and her family to RiverFest
in downtown Little Rock. She had a great time at
all the concerts.

Summer has continued with Tessia and her
friends just goofing off and having fun.

Tess & Jordan below in a local park/playground.

and of course.....they MUST obey the rules!! LOL

Jordan, Kayla, and Tess, glamming it up!

I think these two look like sisters!

Flowerbed Fun & Mother's Day

I've recently put the finishing touches

on my front flowerbed. My next project

is adding a roofed deck to the back part of the house.

The carpenter was here yesterday taking

measurements for an estimate.

Before After

I added the bird bath and lily pad.

I planted the urn and added it to my

front porch.

Full view

I added landscape lights this past weekend.

I also planted the bigger urn this past

weekend and placed it on the other

side of the house....for symmetry.

Some new photos....

Tessia update

My Tessia will be 16 in one month!!!

Re-Decorating

I have recently re-decorated my living room with a new

leather sofa by Bassett....a couple of new lamps....a new

area rug....and new side table. The side table had a piece

of glass in the center, which I did not like. Tessia had the

brilliant idea of cutting a piece of leather to replace it...and

I love how it turned out!

I have also updated my bedroom with new linens, a new area rug, and some new art (painted by none other than me!) :)

Being a Kid Again.......

I took Tessia and her friend, Jordan, to Fort Smith
last night. They went to the mall while I went to
Big Lots.
When it came time for supper....they decided
they wanted "to be kids again" and go to
Chuckie Cheese Pizza!! LOL!!

This is Jordan and Tessia with their Purple
Princess Cups!

They each got 25 tokens with the pizza and
they played a lot of games.

Their other friend, Mok, showed up...and
they all got together and had a blast.

Today, Tessia, Nikki, and I went to Rogers, Arkansas and shopped at Pinnacle Hills Promenade .

We absolutely love this place.
